MBI® Groups
Mind Body Intelligence groups are a chance to begin or strengthen your meditation practice. The groups are small, about 7 or 8 members, and offer you the chance to experience the joy of community in a warm and comfortable setting.
Although many participants have issues with anxiety, stress, depression, or illness, MBI® groups are not traditional talk therapy groups. You can share as much or as little information about yourself as you choose. Most importantly you will have the opportunity to develop real intimacy with your own mind, body and spirit. Through this process, anxiety, stress and depression decrease. A sense of happiness arises. Some physical problems diminish and others become more manageable. And you may find a deeper connection to your own spirituality.
Mind Body Intelligence offers psychological growth through identifying the causes of suffering and learning mindfulness meditation techniques. Participants develop greater connection with their physical being through Yoga, Qigong and guided meditations. Participants learn how to decrease the physical effects of stress and how to live more lovingly with their bodies. The opportunity for spiritual growth and a deeper connection to all living things is a result of Mind Body Intelligence practice. Participation results in a significant increase in over-all health and well-being!
