What to Expect from Nutrition Counseling Sessions
The First Session:
❖ We’ll set reasonable goals and expectations.
❖ We’ll explore your current health status: past medical history,
current medications, vitamin and herbal supplements, and eating habits.
❖ Develop The Plan: Together we will develop a plan that best suits your needs.
We may use tools like documenting your eating, completing food related “homework
assignments”, Reading from additional nutrition education sources.
Follow-Up Sessions:
Here you have the opportunity to review your progress and
address any obstacles you have encountered.
Follow-Up sessions are crucial to further assess your individual needs
and help you reach your goals. These sessions allow for fine-tuning your
plan and assuring a successful outcome.
